Artist Profile: Joyce Honey Bownds

Joyce Honey Bownds has always been interested in painting and has even been exhibited in a few galleries in the past. Since 2007 Joyce has experienced deteriorating vision, but she sees it as a challenge to, rather than the end of, her enjoyment of painting. In her own words: “Due to low vision caused by macular degeneration, my paintings are done by rollers instead of brushes, letting my inner spirit take charge. I hope you enjoy the freedom of this expression.”
