“Walnut Street Bridge” Darron DeSantis $115. Darron R. DeSantis, a two year resident of Chattanooga, is originally from New Hampshire. Darron taught in public schools for 14 years. In 2010, after being unlawfully terminated, he had to sleep in his SUV in freezing temperatures. After his SUV and all of his possession were towed and unable to be recovered, he was homeless and jobless for the first time in his life. Mr. DeSantis is now a member of AIM Center and receiving treatment for dipolar disorder. He finds great solace in painting with watercolor.

Ana Martinez was born and raised in Jalisco, Mexico. She learned to crochet and cross-stitch dresses and purses at 8 years old. Ana and her family have lived in Chattanooga for 13 years now. Language being a barrier, she can connect and do her craft as a source of income. Her pieces are 100 % handmade and uniquely beautiful.
